I started my insurance career in 1998 and was a former State Farm Claims Representative. I am a North Carolina Native and a graduate from the Appalachian State University. I have Advanced degrees in finances and Insurance. I am a proud supporter of several local non-profits and am highly engaged in the community!

I’m a son of a long-time State Farm agent. My dad started when I was six years old and I started with State Farm right out of college. I just celebrated thirty-one years with State Farm. I was an agent from 2001-2005 in North Carolina and then accepted an Agency Leadership position with the company. That took us to Greensboro and ultimately Suffolk in 2008. I left the corporate life after leading sixty-seven offices to being in charge of just one, mine! I bring a wealth of experience with insurance and financial services needs.
